Lubbock Hosts SCC-AAAE

By Jay Carpenter, TXAA Board of Directors

Beginning on March 27, 2010, The South Central Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives met in at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center in Lubbock, Texas, for their annual conference. The conference ran for five days. The title of the event was “Winds of Change.”

West Texas windy weather greeted attendees on day two’s golf tournament and mentor meetings but the weather soon became beautiful and guests enjoyed good food and knowledgeable speakers from across the nation.
